Submission Guidelines
These guidelines apply to the following contributions:
Industrial papers: best practices, industrial use cases of VR/AR/MR, project results and demonstrations of VR/AR/MR applications in industry, and/or actual or potential transfers of academic results. “Industry” is understood in the widest sense, including all domains with commercial relevance.
Posters: recently completed work, work in progress, or publicly presentable ideas for unimplemented and/or unusual systems or applications.
Demonstrations: live demonstrations of past and on-going projects. Technology developers and suppliers, exhibitors, digital artists and members of the VR/AR/MR industrial communities are all invited to exhibit and demonstrate the latest technologies and applications.
The topics of interest of Industrial papers, Demonstrations and Posters may be seen here.
Industrial papers will be selected based on a light peer-review managed by the Industrial Committee Co-Chairs, based on a 1-page abstract. Accepted abstracts will be published on the USB keys distributed to the conference participants, and will be made available for download on the conference web site.
Demonstrations and Posters will be selected based on a light peer-review managed by the Poster & Demo Committee Co-Chairs, based on a 2-page abstract. Accepted abstracts will be published on the USB keys distributed to the conference participants, and will be made available for download on the conference web site.
In submitting an abstract the author(s) agree that, upon acceptance, they will prepare the final version in time for inclusion in the USB keys and will present their contribution at the conference.
Abstract formatting
The abstracts are to be submitted in the English language as a PDF file using the Microsoft Word templates available here. The number of pages is indicative (see above for each category), and longer abstracts will be accepted.
Abstract Submission
Only abstracts submitted before August 3, 2018 (midnight) GMT via our EasyChair portal will be considered for reviewing and publication in the conference USB keys.
Camera Ready Instructions
Authors whose abstract is accepted are required to upload the final version of their abstract and/or poster on the EasyChair portal both as PDF and as source (Microsoft Word for abstracts, Microsoft PowerPoint for poster), before September 7, 2018 (midnight) GMT.
For Industrial abstracts, Poster & Demo (long abstract), all submissions have to be uploaded on the EasyChair which will be indicated on the EuroVR 2018 website soon:
