The advent of COVID-19 pandemic has strongly shuddered the healthcare sector across the globe and Artificial Intelligence plays an important role in dealing with the emergent challenges in this field, covering different areas like early detection of infections, fast contact tracing, decision-making models and risk profiling of cohorts and remote treatment. Apart from the applications of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare during COVID-19, due to the massiveness of the domain, it encounters challenges like interoperability, lack of unified structure for eHealth, data privacy and security, making the discussion-domain even wider.
This book looks on two broad areas — the first part provides a landscape view to the applied aspect of AI in healthcare related COVID-19 through case studies and innovative applications, the second part discusses the key concerns, and challenges in the field of AI in eHealth during the pandemic, along with other allied fields like IoT and medical informatics, creating a broad platform of transdisciplinary discussion.
We cordially invite you to to contribute chapters in this book focused to the theme of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare and COVID-19.
