III Workshop on Energy Poverty and the Clean Energy Transition Emerging Vulnerabilities, Dynamic Evidence and Transformative Solutions (EPECT_2026).

This workshop seeks to advance this research agenda. Particular attention will be given to measuring vulnerability, the transformation of energy markets, the long-term consequences of energy deprivation, the impacts of extreme climate events, the distributional consequences of the clean energy transition, and emerging challenges related to technology, inequality, and energy justice. We welcome research using microdata, longitudinal and causal evidence, novel data sources, economic modelling, and innovative analytical approaches to uncover heterogeneity, dynamics, and the mechanisms underlying energy vulnerability.
The workshop will bring together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to discuss cutting-edge research and transformative solutions.

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome.

• Abstracts and Full papers (approx. 8,000 words) should be submitted in line with the topics of interest. Papers must align with the theme of the workshop and will be reviewed for relevance, quality, and originality. Accepted papers will be presented at the workshop, and a selection of high-quality papers may be considered for publication in the special issue.
