The EMTDT workshop focuses on emerging memory technologies which are triggering intense interdisciplinary activity; they have the potential to provide many benefits, such as energy efficiency, density, re-configurability, non-volatility, novel computational structures and approaches, massive parallelism, etc. This workshop will provide a forum to discuss challenges, trends, solutions and applications of these rapidly evolving memory technologies by gathering researchers and engineers from academia and industry. EMTDT aims at creating a unique network of competence and experts in all aspects of emerging memories including technology, manufacturing, design, test and applications. EMTDT will take place in conjunction with the IEEE International Test Conference (ITC) and is sponsored by the Test Technology Technical Council (TTTC) of IEEE Computer Society.
Topic Areas: You are invited to participate and submit your contributions to the EMDTD Workshop. The workshop’s areas of interest include (but are not limited to) the following topics:
- Modeling of advanced non-volatile memories (ReRAM, PCM, MRAM, STT-MRAM etc.),
- Design of future data storage systems,
- Design automation flows for advanced memories,
- Fault and defect modeling for advanced non-volatile memories,
- Reliability concerns and mitigation techniques for advanced memories,
- Test and Design-for-Test for future data storage systems,
- Novel architectures based on advanced non-volatile memory technologies,
- New applications and computing paradigms based on non-volatile memory technologies
The Workshop accepts Extended Abstract submissions (of two pages).
All submissions will be evaluated for selection with respect to their suitability for the workshop, originality, technical soundness, and presented results. Selected submissions can be accepted for regular or poster presentation at the Workshop.
