EMENA-ISTL 2018: Europe Middle East & North Africa Information Systems and Technologies to support Learning L’Université Privée de Fès FES, Morocco, October 25-27, 2018

We'd like to invite you to submit your papers/posters/demo proposals for the 2nd edition of  Europe Middle East & North Africa Information Systems and Technologies to support Learning EMENA-ISTL'18 to be held from 25-27 October 2018 in Fez, Morocco.

EMENA-ISTL'18 attracts researchers, scientists, PhD students, and technologists from some of the top companies, universities, research firms and government agencies from around the world. Each paper will be reviewed by at least three regular PC members or two senior PC members. The acceptance decisions will take into account paper novelty, technical depth, elegance, practical or theoretic impact, and presentation.

The conference program will include paper presentations, poster sessions and project demonstrations, along with prominent keynote speakers and industrial workshops.

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:

All papers must follow the formatting rules for Proceedings in " Smart Innovation, Systems and Technologies book series " (see Instructions for Authors at Springer Website or download a DOC example) and be written in English.

The version of papers for evaluation by the Program Committee, saved in PDF format, must not include identification, e-mail and affiliation of the authors. This information must only be available in the camera-ready version of accepted papers, saved in Word or Latex format and also in PDF format. These files must be accompanied by the Consent to Publish form filled out, in a ZIP file, and uploaded at the conference management system.

Four types of papers can be submitted:

Full paper: Finished or consolidated R&D works, to be included in one of the Conference themes. These papers are assigned a 10-page limit.

Short paper: Ongoing works with relevant preliminary results, open to discussion. These papers are assigned a 6-page limit.

Poster paper: Initial work with relevant ideas, open to discussion. These papers are assigned to a 4-page limit.

Company paper: Companies' papers that show practical experience, R & D, tools, etc., focused on some topics of the conference. These papers are assigned to a 4-page limit.

EMENA-ISTL'18 proceedings will be published in Springer, All papers will be will be published in Springer series " Smart Innovation, Systems and Technologies" book series and submitted for indexing to ISI Proceedings, EI-Compendex, DBLP, SCOPUS, Google Scholar and Springerlink. Best selected papers will be published in SCI/Scopus among others-indexed journals.

Extended version of best selected papers will be published in SCI/Scopus among others-indexed journals.

Venue

The conference  EMENA-ISTL'18 will be Held in Private University of Fes (UPF) FEZ, Morocco.

The venue  city Fez (فاس) (French: "Fès") is one of the imperial cities of Morocco. It is famous for being home to the world's oldest university, the Qarawiyyin university (established in 859). It has an ancient walled city, which many compare to the walled city of Jerusalem.
