The aim of the conference is to offer opportunities to share your ideas, to discuss theoretical and practical issues and to connect with the leaders in the fields of Engineering Education for Sustainable Development.

The EESD2027 conference will attract engineering educators, academics and industry representatives from all over the world with an interest in embedding sustainability in engineering education and driving sustainable impact on the development of societies.

Conference Themes

The theme of the conference is "Driving sustainable impact through Higher Education".

The conference is divided into four tracks dealing with the conference theme Driving sustainable impact through Higher Education:

• Track 1: Teaching and learning on, about, and for sustainable development 
• Track 2: Institutional and curriculum development for driving sustainable development 
• Track 3: Research, Development and Innovation on sustainability in engineering
• Track 4: Connecting industry and society on sustainability issues

Once the submission system is open, the process begins with abstract submission. We will be welcoming both abstracts for oral presentations as well as interactive contributions in the form of workshops and poster presentations.

If your abstract is accepted for a podium or poster presentation, you are expected to upload your full paper. For workshops you find a workshop description template on the website. The format for abstract submissions and full paper templates is published on EESD2027 website Engineering Education for Sustainable Development (EESD2027).

After the peer-reviewing process, full papers for podium and poster presentations, as well as workshop descriptions will be published in the conference proceedings.

You are invited to submit abstracts for

• a podium presentation, or
• a poster presentation, or
• a workshop

By summitting the abstract, the author accepts that their final full paper is published as an article when accepted, and the workshop description is published as such in the proceedings of EESD2027.
