Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. No paper will be accepted unless at least one author registers for the conference.Each participant will be allowed to make only ONE presentation. However, subject to this condition, participants may be named as a co-author on more than one paper or abstract. Poster submissions are unlimited. Full papers submitted in April 2023 and accepted for the iJMEST Special Issue will be published in that issue.
- Full papers for the Conference Proceedings are limited to 5000 words, excluding references and due by 23:59 UTC 15 August 2023.
- Abstracts for posters, workshop proposals, and abstract-only presentations are limited to 250 words, excluding references and are due by 23:59 UTC 30 September 2023.
The reviewers will use the following criteria:
- Clarity of research question or purpose: Is the research question clearly stated and its importance justified?
- Use of latest and relevant research findings: Does the paper draw on the most recent and pertinent research findings in the field? Is it situated within a relevant theoretical framework?
- Consistency of the paper: Is the paper consistent as a whole? Does the methodology align with the research question, and is the question adequately addressed in the conclusion?
- Adequacy of methodology: Does the design and execution of the methodology sufficiently address the research question? Depending on the design (qualitative or quantitative), are issues of dependability, interpretation, reliability, and validity appropriately addressed?
- Presentation of results: Where applicable, are the results clearly and accurately presented? Do they align with the chosen methodology?
- Justifiability of conclusions: Are the conclusions supported by the methodology and/or the results (where applicable)? Does the discussion of results demonstrate insight, originality, and suggest applicable implications and recommendations?
- Academic writing standards: Does the paper adhere to accepted criteria for academic writing, including coherence, grammar, layout, and organization? Do the references follow APA standards?
- Appropriateness of title: Is the title suitable and does it accurately reflect the essence of the paper?
- Adequacy of abstract: Is the abstract included in the paper comprehensive and precise in summarizing the entire paper?
- Originality and scholarly contribution: Is the paper original and does it contribute to scholarly debates in the field?

Table Mountain Delta 2023 proceedings will be double-blind peer reviewer and published by the University of Cape Town on behalf of the international Delta Steering Committee.
Venue
The conference will be held at the Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town, set in the heart of the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town, South Africa.
