Short Description of the Volume
Data mining is a subset of business analytics. Machine learning involves the use of algorithms that improve automatically through experience based on data. Data Mining is said to be called a Misnomer because the meaning is to mine but not to extract the knowledge. The apt word would be “Knowledge Discovery from data”. It is the practice of examining large pre-existing databases in order to generate information. Data mining algorithms are now being investigated and applied worldwide. Huge data sets can be classified and clustered to find out accurate results. The most common technologies used include classification and clustering methods. Accuracy and error rates are calculated for regression, classification, and clustering to find out actual results. When we through, the algorithms like support vector machine, Neural networks with forward and backward propagation. Applications include fraud detection, image processing, medical diagnosis, weather prediction, e-commerce, etc.
The most common technologies which include classification, clustering which are very much in use to predict the data. These algorithms also pave the part to overcome the challenges which we are facing in daily life. The huge data sets are classified and clustered to find out the accurate result. The accuracy and error rate are also calculated for regression, classification, and clustering to find out the actual result. When we through, the algorithms like support vector machine, Neural networks with forward and backward propagation. The applications include fraud detection, image processing, medical diagnosis, predicting the weather, etc.
Even in e-commerce the data mining algorithms are used to analyses the data by using sentiment analysis. Going further, the applications have been increasing in different areas and fields. Web mining and Text mining also paved their way to construct concrete q2felid in data mining. Data mining and machine learning are to be fielded as an interdisciplinary field and proficiency are said to be interoperability.

Publication
DMTMLA-2020 proceedings will be published by Wiley Scrivener Publishing
The purpose of Scrivener Publishing is to publish books and journals in the technology applied sciences for both the practitioner in the industry (engineer and technician) and the researcher in academia. This high-quality content is essential to our professional customers and is sold globally as print and electronic as well as in aggregated databases. We believe our content helps businesses and industries achieve cost efficiencies and higher productivity. We also believe that our new journal titles will be unique and important resources for both the practitioner and researcher in the fields represented. Finally, by partnering with Wiley, the leading engineering publisher, on our books through our joint imprint, Wiley-Scrivener, Scrivener Publishing will offer our authors global marketing, sales, and distribution both in print and digital. This publication is anticipated to be released in 2021. All manuscript submissions to the special issue should be sent through the online submission system.
