The Dementia Lab 2020 conference is an inclusive multidisciplinary conversation, a combination of 150 designers, artists, researchers, health professionals, carers, and people living with dementia. The event seeks to impact the emerging asocial society in inspiring active participation from all attendees, by removing systemic hierarchies and social silos. The event will highlight issues and innovations surrounding ability and disability, reflecting on how design and research efforts can lead the way in uncovering, supporting and enhancing the abilities of people with dementia and the community within which they live by involving them in the conversation. We welcome everyone to contribute to the conference from their professional or personal experiences. The invitation is open to designers, researchers, people living with dementia, and practitioners across all areas of design creative practice and health.
