It is a matter of immense pleasure to inform you that IPEM Law Academy is going to organize 2nd DR. B.S. GOEL MEMORIAL NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION from 19th-20th February 2021 at the premises of the IPEM Law Academy, Ghaziabad.
We cordially invite your esteemed institution to participate in the above event by sending a Team of three students (Two Speakers and one Researcher).
The objective of this Moot Court competition is to give exposure to the students pursuing B.A.LL.B/LL.B programme to environment of court room system in India and to explore their advocacy skills, presenting argument and contributing to the development of law in the area of Moot Court Problem.
The Moot Problem, Registration Form, and the detailed Rules & Regulations for the Moot Court Competition are attached herewith. Registration form should reach us either by speed post or courier on or before 15th December, 2020. The soft copy may also be sent through email to <moot2021@ipemgzb.ac.in>.
The Memorials and Counter Memorials be submitted on or before 20th December 2020 at IPEM Law Academy (six spiral-bound copies) along with Registration Fee of Rupees 2000/- through an online mode (Link for online payment https://www.ipemgzb.ac.in/online-fee-deposite.php) or a demand Draft drawn in favour of the IPEM Law Academy payable at Ghaziabad.
All teams are requested to report the venue of the competition, i.e IPEM law Academy at 09.00 AM on 19th February, 2021.
The following Prizes shall be awarded in the Competition:
Best Team: The Team winning the final round of the Competition will get a Certificate, Trophy and a Cash Prize of Rs. 11000/-.
Runner Up Team- The Runner Up team of the final round of the Competition will get a Certificate, Trophy and a Cash Prize of Rs. 7000/-.
Best Speaker- Best Speaker award shall be determined on the basis of the total marks secured during the court rounds. The Speaker will get a Certificate, Trophy and Cash Prize of Rs. 4000/-.
Best Memorial: The team having the highest average memorial score from both sides shall be given a Certificate, Memento and Cash Prize of Rs. 2500/-.
Best Researcher- There shall be a Researcher test in the IPEM Law Academy and the Best Researcher will get a Certificate, Memento and Cash Prize of Rs. 2500/-.
The Researcher Test will be conducted on 19th February from 10.00 A.M. onwards.
Certificate of Participation shall be given to all the participating teams.
