International Workshop «Computational Linguistics» (CompLing-2020) will be held in St. Petersburg, Russia on June 19-20, 2020 as a part of the conference «Internet and Modern Society»
(IMS-2020).
The goal of the CompLing-2020 workshop is to discuss the actual issues of interaction of linguistics and information technologies – regarding the development of technology solutions on the basis of a natural language, and the influence of information technologies on the language. Target audience are linguists of all profiles, the staff of organizations developing information systems that involve natural language processing, specialists in knowledge representation, higher education teachers, translators.
The key topics of the workshop are the following:

- Computer analysis of natural language
- Corpus linguistics
- Digital linguistic resources
- Computational and linguistic ontologies
- Information extraction
- Document analysis
- Information retrieval

PROCEEDINGS
The articles will be selected for the publication in the IMS2020 Proceedings.
All submissions will be carefully reviewed by the Program Committee. The authors will be given an opportunity to publish full-format articles of up to 12 pages in LNCS format on English) in CEUR-WS (http://ceur-ws.org/) indexed by DBLP and Scopus.
Full-format article requirements for CEUR:
- It should be prepared using LNCS Springer format (instructions - https://ru.overleaf.com/latex/templates/springer-lecture-notes-in-computer-science/kzwwpvhwnvfj).
- It should contain 10-12 pages.
- The language of the article is English
SUBMISSION
- Authors need to submit a paper to CompLing-2020 workshop via the EasyChair system (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=compling2020);
- To be accepted to the workshop a paper must be original, not published anywhere else before or being under review;
- All papers undergo a double-blind peer review;
- The authors of accepted papers will be invited to participate in the workshop as speakers.
IMPORTANT DATES - Paper Submission & Registration:
20 February 2020 – Deadline for papers / panels submission;
10 April – Notifications for acceptance;
1 May – Camera-ready papers submissions;
10 May – Authors early registration deadline;
20 May – Conference Programm.
Participants must present their reports in person. Not showing up at the conference will automatically lead to the exclusion of the paper from IMS Proceedings and the workshop program.
