This year marks the 40th anniversary of the advent of scanning tunneling microscopes. The invention of the scanning tunneling microscope directly gave birth to the vigorous development of nanoscience. A series of scanning probe microscope families developed on this basis have become powerful tools for studying surface and low-dimensional physical properties on the atomic scale, and have played a key pillar role in the development of quantum materials and condensed matter physics. The main purpose of this conference is to invite top scientific researchers engaged in advanced scanning probe microscopy to discuss the current hot spots, future development directions, and major scientific issues that may be resolved in scanning probe technology, and provide an in-depth exchange of opportunities for domestic peers.
Topics of Interest
This conference will focus on the following topics of interest (but not limited to):
- Ultra-Low-Temperature-High-Magnetic-Field STM (LT-HF STM)
- Spin-Polarized Scanning Tunneling Microscopy (SP-STM)
- Non-Contact Atomic Force Microscopy (nc-AFM)
- Advanced SPM technology, such as the combination of SPM with Raman、Microwave、Terahertz、Ultrafast Pulsed-Laser and so on.
- Novel instrumentation and techniques in SPM
- SPM Application in Quantum Materials
