This year's 4th Information and Computing Education Conference (CSP-ICE 2021) of the Special Interest Group on Information and Computing Education (SPICE) under the Computing Society of the Philippines (CSP) and hosted by Southern Leyte State University, is a back to back conference event in collaboration with the Special Interest Group on Artificial Intelligence (SIG-AI) and the Special Interest Group on Women In Computing (SIG-WIC).
ICE 2021 will have a hybrid format. In fact for this year, we are in one with our country's primal direction that is the "National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategy", which provides an actionable guide on how to harness AI's potential to uplift Filipinos, our local industries, and our Economy. Connecting with this strategical direction, day 1, will cover talks about how we can shape up and align Computing Education with the Philippine AI Roadmap. Speakers from DTI, National Center for AI Research will give functional talks and in response, the different Technical Panel members of the different computing programs from CHED will give out their proposed specialization aligning to AI. In the afternoon, a workshop on Course exemplars sponsored by the different Centers of Excellence in IT/ Computing (UP D/B, DLSI, ADMU, NU, CITU, USJ-R, etc).
Day 2, sponsored by the SIG-AI, will be a research presentation of submitted/ accepted papers on the topics but are not limited to:
