About the Symposium
The Computer Science PhD Symposium (CSBPS) 2018, is a one day event which aims to bring together researchers from academia and industry, as well as practitioners in the area of Computer Science and Information Systems in order to provide a forum where recent research results can be presented and discussed. The aim is to understand open issues in research as applied in researchers’ body of works, and to build a community of researchers and practitioners willing to collaborate on these issues.
Submission Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit extended abstracts of their working research (about 1000 words). The submitted papers can only be submitted in the PDF format. Please follow the IEEE Computer Society Press Proceedings Author Guidelines, a template is available on the CSBPS website.
To prepare your extended abstracts, respectively. Every author of each accepted paper is required to attend the Symposium and present the paper. All papers must be submitted via the EasyChair website: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=csbps2018.
The paper should describe:
- The problem to be solved in your thesis (justify why this problem is important and make clear that previous research has not yet solved that problem).
- Your research hypothesis (or claim).
- The expected contributions of your research.
- How you plan to evaluate your results.
- A description of the results achieved so far (if possible) and a planned timeline for completion.
