Critical Perspectives on Artificial Intelligence Ethics Conference (CPAIE20) explores human and non-human impacts of Artificial Intelligence, critiquing the AI system pipeline, through application domains and implications to the construction of framing and narratives of AI. The conference will connect researchers from across many different fields, fostering an intersection of perspectives which will enrich the future of AI ethics research.
CPAIE20 will be taking place on April 23rd and 24th 2020 in Edinburgh, organised by the AI Ethics & Society research group. AIES promotes multidisciplinary discussions of pivotal topics in AI Ethics via seminars, reading groups and screenings and fostering a community of researchers in the area.

Submission Guidelines
Paper sessions will be composed by the Organising Committee based on the individual paper abstracts submitted. Panels are sessions that bring together a group of presenters with contributions on a topic related to the themes. The session format will engage the panellists and audience in interactive discussions and represent a diversity of views on the topic. Each presentation will last 15 minutes.
Abstracts should consist of:
