Living standards are increasing day by day in the light of technological developments. One of the consequences of this is that people's expectations increase. Many things can be listed among these expectations, but the most important are expectations regarding human health and life expectancy. For this reason, many studies are carried out on the use of technological developments for the benefit of human health. These medical applications may include many image processing applications such as MRI, CT, fMRI, microscopy. In addition, it includes the interpretation of many biomedical signals such as EEG, ECG, EMG. Of course, it is not possible to limit medical applications only to this. Studies on health reveal the breadth of this area. Manual methods were preferred in these areas in the past. Especially with technological developments, they left their places to automatic methods with this manual method. Today, convolutional neural network architectures, which can produce striking results in almost every field, are used in medical image processing applications.
This book includes medical image processing applications using well-designed and innovative CNN architectures. It seriously contributes to this field with different types of images and architectures specially recommended for different diseases.
The book welcomes high-quality research, survey and tutorial papers on medical image processing topics. All papers will go through a rigorous peer-review process and automated plagiarism checks. Papers must be formatted according to the specifications and limits of the proposed template.
