We are pleased to invite the academic, government and business community to participate in the CIMPS 2022 (International Conference on Software Processes Improvement), it will be held between the 19th and 21th of October 2022, in Acapulco, Guerrero, México as virtual venue (Mexico Central Time).
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
Three types of papers in english or spanish can be submitted
- Full paper: Finished or consolidated R&D works. These papers will be assigned an 10/14-page limit.
- Company or industrial paper: papers that show practical experience, R & D, tools, etc., focused on main topic of the conference. These papers will be assigned to a 6/8-page limit.
- Poster paper: Ongoing works with relevant preliminary results, will be opened to discussion. These papers will be assigned a 4-page limit.
List of Topics
All topic areas related to Software engineering focused but not limited to Software Processes improvement and Security in Information and Communication Technology Covid-19 Field work. Submitted papers should follow the main themes proposed for the Conference (the topics proposed were not intended as restrictive):
- Organizational Models, Standards and Methodologies
- Knowledge Management
- Software Systems, Applications and Tools
- Information and Communication Technologies
- Processes in non-software domains (Mining, automotive, aerospace, business, health care, manufacturing, etc.) with a demonstrated relationship to software process challenges
Publication
All papers must follow the formatting rules (download a DOC example) and can be written in English or Spanish. The version of papers for evaluation by the Program Committee, saved in doc or docx, must not include identification, e-mail and affiliation of the authors. This information must only be available in the camera-ready version of accepted papers, saved in Word format.
Submitted full, company or industrial papers must comply with the format of Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing Series (see Instructions for Authors at Springer Website or download a Format Springer) be written in English. Submitted papers in spanish or posters-paper in Spanish or English language must comply with the format of IEEE Xplore Digital Library (download a Format IEEE); paper’s tittle, author names, abstract and affiliations must be in English for indexing purposes.
