Each BSides is a community-driven framework for building events for and by information security community members. The goal is to expand the spectrum of conversation beyond the traditional confines of space and time. It creates opportunities for individuals to both present and participate in an intimate atmosphere that encourages collaboration. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction between participants. It is where conversations for the next-big-thing are happening.
This year, our theme is Connect. Detect. Protect.
We welcome submissions for both technical and non-technical talks which address one or more of the areas in this year's theme.
We are looking for 25 minute and 55-minute presentations. Please specify the length of your talk in your submission.
Submission Guidelines
This year, we are using a double-blind peer-review process. This means that you must anonymize your submission so that reviewers cannot tell who submitted the proposed talk. If you do not completely anonymize your submission, organizers will return it to you for revision.
Our goal is to have each submission evaluated by three reviewers, with written feedback provided.
Before submitting, please look at one of the organizer's blog post about the CFP process - https://blog.andy-green.org/2018/04/09/on-conference-cfps-and-reviewing/
