Main theme of 2nd National Blockchain Workshop (BILGEM BW 2019) is “Digital Identity on Blockchain”, and it focuses on the question of “how blockchain will affect citizens’ daily lives?”. Is it possible to make the processes that citizens/legal entities encounter while using public or municipal services faster or more secure with the help of blockchain technology? How to increase participation of citizens in management while protecting their privacy in the digital world? These issues and beyond will be discussed in this workshop. Another important goal of this workshop is to cover topics like stable coins, security and privacy, more technical concepts like consensus mechanisms, cryptographic algorithms and real-world use cases with experts of the blockchain domain
The workshop, which will include both domestic and foreign speakers, panels, success stories and training sessions, is expected to be attended by a large number of national and international participants from academia and industry.
