The 13th Int. Conf. on Brain Inspired Cognitive Systems (BICS’23) will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as a sequel of BICS 2004 - 2022. It is co-organized by the University of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM) (www.nottingham.edu.my), the National Subsea Centre (www.nationalsubseacentre.com), the Robert Gordon University (RGU) (www.rgu.ac.uk), the Edinburgh Napier University (ENU) (www.napier.ac.uk), UK and the Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University (GPNU) (https://www.gpnu.edu.cn/), China.
BICS'23 aims to provide a high-level international forum for scientists, engineers, and innovators to present thestate-of-the-art in brain-inspired cognitive systems research and applications in diverse fields. The conference willfeature plenary lectures given by world-renowned scholars, regular sessions with broad coverage, and some specialsessions and workshops focusing on popular and timely topics.
BICS’23 conference proceedings will be published as part of Springer LNAI Series and indexed by EI. Selectedbest papers will be recommended for SCI Journal Special Issues including: Springer's Cognitive Computation (http://springer.com/12559 - JCR Impact Factor 5.418), Expert Systems (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/journal/14680394 - JCR Impact Factor: 2.8) and others.
New: For authors who cannot attend due to travel issues, online participation is feasible. A joint workshop will also be organised in China, co-hosted by Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University, with a particular poster session for exchange and discussions.
