Dear Researchers
We are in the process of editing a book titled “Big Data Analytics in Fog-Enabled IoT Networks: Towards a Privacy and Security Perspective” to be published by CRC Press, Taylor & Francis Group. We would like to invite you to contribute a quality chapter in the proposed book to enrich its scholarly content.
About the Book:
The book aims to systematically collect and present quality research works in recent trends in Big IoT data analytics approaches for providing the privacy and security solutions for Fog-enabled Internet of Things (IoT) network. Due to large number of deployments of IoT devices, a IoT is a main source of Big data. There are variety of Fog-enabled IoT system such as smart cities, smart grid, intelligent transportation, healthcare, smart manufacturing, and so on where a very high volume of sensing data is generated. To provide a fast and efficient data analytics solution for Fog-enabled IoT system is a very fundamental research issue. For the deployment of the Fog-enabled-IoT system in different applications such as Healthcare system, Smart cities and smart grid system, security, and privacy of big IoT data and IoT network are key issues. The current centralized IoT architecture is heavily restricted with various challenges such as single point of failure, data privacy, security, robustness, etc. Thus, this book would emphasize and facilitate a greater understanding of various security and privacy approaches using the advance AI and Big data technologies like machine/deep learning, federated learning, blockchain, edge computing and the countermeasures to overcome these vulnerabilities. This book will follow theoretical approach to describe the fundamentals concepts as well as practical approach with the implementation of the case studies. This book will be beneficial for academicians, researchers, developers, and engineers who work in or interested in the fields related to security and privacy for Fog-enabled IoT. This book will also serve as a reference book for graduate and postgraduate courses in computer science, computer engineering, and information technology streams. We invite contributory chapters for submissions on all topics mentioned below, but are not limited to:
Submission Guidelines
- All Manuscripts must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. All the submission should be made only through Easychair Only.
- Submit your chapter on Easychair at the following link: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=bdafiot2021
AUTHOR GUIDELINES FOR THE BOOK CHAPTER SUBMISSION
- Article of 15-20 pages should be submitted for a single chapter.
- Original articles with significant contributions from the Author(s) will be the major consideration for shortlisting the received chapters.
- References should be put in APA style.
- We are collaborating with an international publisher, it is mandatory that emphasis should be given for the correct use of English in the chapters. Please ensure that the submitted book chapter is free from any grammatical/typographical/semantic errors. Please put your article through some online grammar checker tool, eg. ginger, check grammar, etc.
- The title of the chapter should be concise, precise and should clearly state the main aim of the chapter. It must correlate to the proposed book chapter titles conveyed during the call of book chapter submission. Editors will arrange the chapters in a sequence so that they must be well synchronized and are in line with the title of the book. Thus, the title of the chapters can be re-framed to go well with the theme of the book, if required.
- A plagiarism check is mandatory for the chapters excluding references and it must be kept at a minimal level (15 %).
- The sections in the book should be at least not necessarily the same like Title, Abstract, Introduction, Literature survey, Research methodology, Introduction to the topic, Main work section, Research implication or findings, Conclusions, Future work, References, and Acknowledgment, if any.
- Figures should NOT be copied from different websites. If they are copied, please add a reference or re-draw the diagrams.
- Customized Copyright Form and Permission Verification Form (PVF) will be shared among all authors in the last stage of this book submission to the publisher.not necessarily the same like
