BALCOR is an international symposium which traditionally gathers operational researchers with the objective to present the theoretical as well as practical research results. One of its assets is the successful exchange of ideas and information of interest to operational research and promotion of international co-operation, especially among the Balkan countries.
The conference will be an extraordinary opportunity for the OR researchers to get together from 25-28 May, 2018 in the beautiful city of Belgrade. The Conference Chair Nenad Mladenović, Program Committee Chairs Milan Martić, Milorad Vidović, Dragan Urošević and the Organizing Committee Chair Gordana Savić, are preparing a high quality scientific program and an exciting social program for the Conference.
The Conference will be divided into sessions, including plenary lectures, semi-plenary lectures and oral presentations. Each author may submit no more than three papers. Authors are required to submit their papers electronically following the submission guidelines available on the Conference website http://balcor2018.fon.bg.ac.rs.
All accepted papers will be included either in the BALCOR Conference Proceedings or in the Springer Proceedings in Business and Economics. Participants are also allowed to send just an abstract of their presentation. All the abstracts from accepted papers/talks will be published in the Book of Abstracts. The selected papers will have the opportunity to be published in a special issue of the Yugoslav Journal of Operations Research - YUJOR.
