e-Commerce amidst it growing applicability is resulting into lots of business opportunities in trades, management, marketing, banking and logistic, etc. However, it is also facing several safety and security challenges which need to be addressed. Many researches are needed to add values e-Commerce practices, to analyze and understand its contribution to organizational change and performance, and to improve upon transactional efficiency, safety and security.
Bank Al-Bilad is a leading bank in Saudi Arabia established in 2004 with a corporate capital of six billion Saudi Riyals. As part of the corporate social responsibility, the bank has committed to finance the research, academic and training initiatives on e-Commerce. The goal of BACEC Workshop is to bring together researchers, academics, practitioners as well as governmental responsible to share ideas, problems and solutions regarding to the multifaceted of e-Commerce. Furthermore, the Conference expect to bring contributions to improve the existing research work in e-Commerce.
BACEC Workshop covers both the technical as well the non-technical aspects of e-Commerce. It seeks high-quality, unpublished contributions addressing e-commerce. Accepted papers would highlight managerial issues, such as e-business processes, e-commerce value setting and e-business strategy; but also technological issues such as technology platforms, internet of things and web services and design. Examples from region-based companies, customers’ experiences, e-commerce entrepreneurial culture, financial and legal environment and so on are expected.
Papers describing original work are invited in any of the areas listed below. Accepted papers, presented at the Workshop by one of the authors, will act as a scientific support for Business Administration and Computer Science students, academics, practitioners and interested public.
Accepted papers will be published in an International Indexed Journal. Acceptance will be based on quality, relevance and originality. Both full research papers, case studies and work-in-progress reports are welcome at the different Workshop’s parallel sessions.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Full papers These include mainly accomplished research results and have 20 pages at the maximum including references, figures, tables and appendices.
- Short papers These are mostly composed of work in progress reports or fresh developments and have 5 pages at maximum.
- Doctoral Consortium The Doctoral Consortium will discuss on going work of PhD students in an informal and formative atmosphere. Contributions to the consortium should take the form of either: a critical literature review of the research topic providing the rationale for the relevance and interest of the research topic; or a short paper discussing the research question(s), research objectives, research methodology and work done so far. Doctoral Consortium Contributions should have a maximum 5 pages.

Only Best Full Papers BACEC SEU 2019 proceedings will be published in an International Scopus Indexed Journal.
