Call for Papers
Austrochip is an annual workshop on microelectronics and integrated circuits in Austria and neighboring countries. It deals with the design of analog, digital, and mixed-signal integrated circuits and systems. The 29th edition will be organized by the Institute for Integrated Circuits of Johannes Kepler University in Linz.
The Call for Papers can also be downloaded here.
Submissions of original research papers to the workshop should cover, but are not limited to, the following topics:
Topics of the workshop include but are not limited to
- Analog, mixed-signal, and RF integrated circuits
- Digital circuits, filters, DSPs, asynchronous designs
- FPGA design and reconfigurable hardware
- Design methodology, system-level design, giga scale circuits, network-on-chip
- Embedded systems and IoT, energy-efficient machine learning, low-power designs, RF systems, security aspects
- Verification and testing, signal integrity, device modeling, timing analysis, reliability simulation, EMC, ESD
- Emerging technologies, quantum computing, nano CMOS process, sub-threshold circuits, sensors, organic and biomedical electronics
- Case studies and prototyping
Submissions from academia as well as industry are encouraged. Especially, PhD students are invited to present their research work related to topics of Austrochip, but also excellent MSc theses will be considered.
Review Process and Proceedings
All submissions will be double-blind reviewed and have to fulfill the requirements of IEEE Xplore. The papers accepted by the program committee will be made available in electronic form at the conference and published in IEEE Xplore. The papers will then be indexed by well-known major indexing services like DBLP, ACM, Google, etc. (for details see a list of IEEE indexing agreements here). Submission implies that at least one of the authors registers and presents the paper at the conference.
Important Dates
- Submission Deadline (extended): August 1st, 2021
- Acceptance of Notification: August 27th, 2021
- Workshop: October 14th, 2021
Instructions for Authors
Papers should not exceed 4 pages written in IEEE A4 format (including bibliography and appendix). The only accepted file format is PDF. Submitted papers have to be anonymous (according to our double-blind review) and have to be written in English. The papers have to follow the IEEE style guide. Templates and more information are available at IEEE.
Paper submission and more detailed information are available at Submission.
Submissions are closed, thank you for your submissions!
Conference Venue
Austrochip 2021 is held in Linz on October 14th, 2021 at the Johannes Kepler University. We are currently planning a face-to-face event at the JKU campus, but due to the COVID-19 restrictions, an alternative purely online mode or a hybrid variant is also being considered. We will set the final decision to August/September 2021.
