Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the biggest technological breakthroughs of stthe 21 century and is no longer a thing of the future. It is revolutionizing the businesses across all sectors and Aerospace & Robotics sectors are no exception. UAV or drones seem to capture the imagination of technologists and entrepreneurs.
Robotics play a major role in every sector and revolutionary applications are emerging with the integration of AI and deep learning techniques.
Microgravity Space Robotics includes manipulation and mobility scenarios for ON Orbit Operations (O ) such as satellite servicing and debris management. Planetary Space Robotics addresses scenario such as Mars and Lunar exploration using manipulation or mobility on or near the surface. The space environment and microgravity pose unique challenges to emerging opportunities for human-robot and robot-robot cooperation in space atmospheric and under water exploration.
Therefore, the combination of Aeronautical Engineering, Space Technology and Robotics enabled with Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a game changer in Aerospace for earth bound, on orbit and interplanetary applications.
The future demands that professionals, students and entrepreneurs need to be prepared to appropriate technology for the benefit of the nation. A two days National Conference on 'AI enabled Aerobots & Hydrobots' is aimed to understand the importance, challenges and inter domain synergy of Artificial Intelligence, Space Robotics, Aero/under water Robotics and Smart Drones.
