Call for Papers - Austrian Robotics Workshop 2022

The Austrian Robotics Workshop aims to provide a vivid environment for exchange about current research topics in the area of robotics and related technologies. This year’s workshop comes with an additional focus on the emerging topic “robotics for assistance and in healthcare”. We are looking forward to the presentation and discussion of research progress as well as current projects.
The workshop will be held at Congress Center Villach on 14th and 15th of June 2022. A specific goal is to strengthen the cooperation between academia and industry. Therefore, contributions and participation from industry are strongly encouraged.
“Robotics for Assistance and in Healthcare” is a growing research area and upcoming focus field of industry. Consequently, we especially encourage submissions covering topics related to this field.

A specific goal of this series of events is to strengthen the cooperation between academia and industry. Therefore, contribution and participation from industry is strongly encouraged.
Preliminary Program
The program will include invited talks, oral presentations of referred research papers, a student-paper poster track as well as demonstrations from industry and academia.

Submission Types
- Research Paper (4-6 pages)
- Student Paper (2 pages)
Paper Electronic Submission
All submission types should be submitted before the deadline via the EasyChair conference system (Link will be announced in January). Papers should be formatted according to the style of IEEE conferences (LaTeX template is available for download at the conference homepage). Please indicate the submission type: (a) Research paper or (b) student paper. We strongly encourage students to submit as principal (first) author a paper to this joint workshop. ARW donates best paper awards for best research as well as best student paper presented at the workshop.
All submissions will be subject to peer-review by the program committee and notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent to the corresponding author. Only submissions with at least one author as registered and presenting participant will be included in the workshop proceedings. Workshop proceedings will be published in digital format (with ISBN).
