Australian and New Zealand artists, scientists and researchers collaborating across disciplines are invited to submit paper proposals for the ANAT SPECTRA 2020 Symposium.
INTRODUCTION
Artists and scientists approach research, creativity and exploration in different ways and from different perspectives. When working together they open up new ways of experiencing and questioning the world around us. ANAT SPECTRA 2020 showcases the best research and creative work being produced through collaborations between Australasian artists and scientists today.
ANAT SPECTRA 2020 will comprise a three-day, single-stream research symposium, alongside a program of exhibitions, immersive screenings, performance and public talks.
Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and not simulteaneously submitted to another conference or publication.

The Academic Committee Co-Chairs will read all submissions before allocating to Academic Committee members for peer review, with each submission reviewed by no less than two reviewers. Any recommendations will be forwarded to author(s) for attention before the paper is finally accepted for symposium inclusion.

Papers/presentations are to be no longer than 20 minutes’ duration.

All submissions are to include:
→ A Cover Sheet stating paper/presentation title, author/s name, full address, email, contact phone number and, if relevant, professional affiliation.
→ An abstract of 300 words, accompanied by up to five key words.
→ A biography for author/s of no more than 100 words each.

Publication
Full papers from ANAT SPECTRA 2020 will be published in a special edition of LEONARDO JOURNAL following a further process of peer review after the symposium.

ANAT SPECTRA 2020 celebrates and acknowledges the Traditional Owners and custodians of the land on which we work, the Wurundjeri and Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present and acknowledge First Nations people as our first artists and scientists.
