The 6th International Conference and Exhibition on Applied Linguistics and Language Teaching (ALLT 2024) is scheduled to be held from 01-03 March 2024 at Zayed University in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The event will include interactive sessions designed to facilitate networking and potential collaborations among attendees. Researchers and professionals interested in the conference theme and topics are invited to submit their abstracts for presentation, in either Arabic or English.
Presentation Methods
- Oral presentation (15 - 20 minutes)
- Poster presentation (50 minutes)
- Symposium (55 minutes – 3 or 4 presentations)
- Workshop / training (55 minutes):
Submission Guidelines
A. Submission for Individual Paper (15 to 20 minutes). The abstract should:
- be between 200 and 250 words.
- include a clear and specific title.
- clearly state the presentation's topic and what the audience can expect to learn.
- be written in either English (for English presentations) or Arabic (for Arabic presentations).
B. Submission for poster (50 minutes). The abstract should:
- be between 200 and 250 words.
- include a clear and specific title.
- clearly state the presentation's topic and what the audience can expect to learn.
- be written in either English (for English presentations) or Arabic (for Arabic presentations).
C. Symposium (55 minutes - 3 or 4 presentations): A 55-minute meeting on a particular topic. The proposal should be submitted by two chairs, and should include:
- a 300-word abstract.
- the topic/theme that the symposium focuses on.
- a description of how the 2-hour slot will be divided.
- the titles and abstract of the 3 or 4 presentations that will be presented and discussed during the symposium. Each abstract should be between 200 and 250 words.
- be written in either English (for English presentations) or Arabic (for Arabic presentations).
D. Workshop / training (55 minutes): this is a hands-on session. It is expected to be practical and involve audience on certain activities. Please note that this NOT an extended oral presentation. It is recommended during the training to share (printed or digital) material with audience. Your submission for a 50-minute workshop/training should:
- be around 300-word abstract;
- include a clear and specific title;
- include clearly what the workshop will cover and how it is organized;
- mention what audience will achieve by the end of the workshop; and
- be written either in English (if the presentation is delivered in English) or Arabic language (if the presentation is delivered in Arabic).
