ALLT 2023: 5th Applied Linguistics and Language Teaching Annual International Conference and Exhibition Zayed University Dubai, UAE, March 3-5, 2023

The 5th Applied Linguistics and Language Teaching (ALLT 2023) International Conference and Exhibition is scheduled to be held on 03-05 March 2020, Dubai, United Arab Emirates at Zayed University. The interactional sessions of the program will encourage networking and future collaboration between participants. All researchers and professionals who are interested in the conference theme and topics are invited to submit their abstracts for presentation (either in Arabic or in English) at the conference.

Presentation Methods

• Oral presentation (25 minutes)
• Poster presentation (55 minutes)
• Workshops / training (55 minutes)
• Symposium (2 hours – 3 or 4 presentations)

Submission Guidelines

A. Submission for Individual Paper (25 minutes) or poster (55 minutes). The abstract should: 

• be between 200 and 250 words. 
• include a clear and specific title;
• include clearly what the presentation is about and what the audience are expected to find if they attend;and
• be written either in English (if the presentation is delivered in English) or Arabic language (if the presentation is delivered in Arabic). 

B. Workshop / training (55 minutes): this is a hands-on session. It is expected to be practical and involve audience on certain activities. Please note that this NOT an extended oral presentation. It is recommended to during the training to share (printed or digital) material with audience. Your submission for a 50-minute workshop/training should be:

• between 200 and 250 words. 
• include a clear and specific title;
• include clearly what the workshop will cover and how it is organized;
• mention what audience will achieve by the end of the workshop; and
• written either in English (if the presentation is delivered in English) or Arabic language (if the presentation is delivered in Arabic). 

C. Symposium (2 hours - 3 or 4 presentations): A 2-hour meeting on a particular topic. The proposal should include: 

• around 300-word abstract;
• should be chaired by two chairs/delegates – the information of both chairs/delegates should be included in the submission via EasyChair.
• the topic / theme that the symposium focuses on;
• description of how you will divide the 2-hour slot;
• the title of 3 or 4 presentations that will be presented and discussed during the symposium. After the blind peer-review process, if the abstract of the symposium is accepted, the organizing committee will contact the symposium chairs/delegates with further instruction on the submission of the abstract of the 3 or 4 presentations of the symposium.
• written either in English (if the symposium is delivered in English) or Arabic language (if the symposiumis delivered in Arabic).

Publication

(ALLT 2023) proceedings will be published by Zayed University Press. The call for full manuscript will be sent to all presenters after the conference.
