The mission of the AIS Consortium is to support the adoption and advancement of products that use artificial intelligence and advanced technologies to help people learn. Stakeholders include, but are not limited to: product and service providers, instructional designers, instructors, trainers, learning and development organizations, teachers and school districts, learning engineers and scientists, researchers, foundations, and government agencies.
The purpose of the AIS Consortium Conference is to educate our stakeholders about emerging technical capabilities. Our conference program includes opportunities to:
- Hear from government, industry and academic keynote speakers
- Develop insights at our paper sessions
- Learn about the AIS marketplace with business (how-to) and technical tutorial sessions
- Examine commercial service and products through our demonstration sessions
- Explore emerging technical capabilities with open-source service and product previews
- Network with your peers at our birds of a feather sessions
The Consortium uses its resources to engage in activities that achieve the following goals:
- Running and sponsoring events and providing members with networking opportunities
- Publishing industry studies and reports
- Providing open-source AIS solutions
- Providing software components and datasets
- Providing certification programs for AIS solutions
- Publicizing the products and services of Consortium members
- Engaging in and supporting standards development
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following full paper (5-10 pages) categories are welcome:
- Individual Learner and Team Modeling
- Instructional Strategies
- Domain Applications
- Interface Design
Venue
The conference will be held in Orlando, Florida at the University DoubleTree and online via the Whova Conference Application.
