AAAI Summer Symposium Series 2023

The rapid growth of AI and metaverse technologies have opened up a new realm of possibilities for human-computer interactions. It is essential to bring together experts from the fields of AI and metaverse to discuss the latest advancements, challenges, and opportunities in this area. We aim to foster deep conversations and knowledge sharing on how AI enriches the Metaverse and vice versa, towards a synergistic AI x Metaverse ecosystem.

The symposium will be a two and a half day event that aims to foster a multidisciplinary discussion on the intersection of AI and metaverse technologies. The symposium will feature two half-day workshop trainings, sessions of talks for researchers and practitioners to present their work, panel discussion and a poster and networking session.

We invite researchers, practitioners, and industry leaders from various fields, including computer science, engineering, psychology, philosophy, and social sciences, to present their latest research findings and share their insights on the current state of the art, future directions, and potential applications of AI and metaverse. 

This symposium is part of the AAAI 2023 Inaugural Summer Symposium Series.

Submission Guidelines

We welcome research work that can be presented in the form of demos, posters and short papers. All submissions should be 2-4 pages formatted using the standard AAAI template. Submissions should be done through the AAAI EasyChair Submission site. Ensure you select the track “AI x Metaverse”. Authors should include their names and affiliations in their submissions.

Selection of submissions follows a juried process where authors may expect to receive light feedback by at least 2 reviewers. Accepted submissions will be published as AAAI symposia proceedings for authors who wish to be included.

A best paper award will be presented by AAAI during the symposium.
