Edited book, commissioned by ELSEVIER INC.
Synopsis
WSN and IoT has become synonymous today. Sensing technology has advanced and so has communication technology. Smart environments have become a reality and so has smart health monitoring systems in humans and animals. This book is intended to show case the novel applications developed across globe for smart health monitoring.
By exploring novel applications of WSN applied to Animal Health monitoring, this book will cover various aspects of recent advancements made in IoT, Body Area Networks, Smart Animal health monitoring, Protocols for data transmission in animal health monitoring and Security and Privacy in e-Health Applications. The book intends to provide case studies and can be used by students, professionals and researchers as a reference text.
Areas of interest are, but not restricted to:
- Electronic Health Records: Standards and Other Initiatives
- Sensors for Health Monitoring
- Wireless Sensor Networks
- Body Area Networks
- Smart Animal health monitoring
- Protocols for data transmission in animal health monitoring

Submission Guidelines
In the first instance, a brief expression of interest should be submitted through the following EasyChair submission page and include an anticipated outline (e.g. table of contents) of the proposed chapter's contents.
Each chapter should be approximately 25-30 pages (ELSEVIER format) in length.
The editor will review your expression of interest and respond within 10 working days of the submission.
Publication
AHSMS19 is an editted book that will be published by ELSEVIER INC.
