ADVANCED COMPUTING AND COMMUNICATIONS CONFERENCE
(ADCOM 2018)
Call for Submissions
Theme: Cognitive Computing and Applications
The Advanced Computing and Communication Society (ACCS) in association with The International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore announces the 24th annual International Conference on Advanced Computing and Communications (ADCOM 2018) at Bangalore during 21st - 23rd September 2018.
ADCOM, the flagship Systems Conference of the ACCS, is a major annual international meeting that draws leading scientists and researchers in computational and communications engineering from across industry and academia. ADCOM highlights the growing importance of Large Scale Systems Engineering and provides the platform to share, discuss and witness leading edge research and trends.
ADCOM 2018 highlights the growing importance of Cognitive Computing and provides the platform to share, discuss and witness leading edge research and trends. The central thesis of this year’s meeting will focus on Cognitive Computing and Applications to build on the Machine Learning, IOT, Smart Cities themes explored in the earlier editions of the conference.
General Chairs for ADCOM 2018 will be Prof. Balaraman Ravindran of IIT Madras and Mr. K. R. Sanjiv , Chief Technology Officer for Wipro's Global IT Business. The Technical Program Committee will be headed by Prof. Vineeth Balasubramanian of IIT Hyderabd and Dr. Ramasuri Narayanam of IBM Research.
Cognitive Computing is the evolution of machine learning systems to account for perception, memory and reasoning as well as autonomous learning. Cognitive computing has enabled cognitive systems to learn, reason and engage with us in a more natural and personalized way. This rapidly developing field of representation learning is concerned with questions surrounding on how best we can learn meaningful and useful representations of data and coupled with advances in processor technology are leading to new breakthroughs that allow machines to achieve super-human performance on many problems considered unsolvable by automated methods. ADCOM 2018 seeks researchers, engineers and practitioners to present state-of-art advances and innovations in Cognitive Computing and debate recent status of the research and direct further developments.
ADCOM 2018 calls for original, high impact research papers and case studies on all topics related to Cognitive Computing, Applications, implementation issues, software platforms, hardware – applications in vision, audio, speech, natural language processing, robotics, neuroscience, or any other field but not limited to:
