Submission deadline | March 29, 2021 |
The ADBIS conference series is a forum for the dissemination of research accomplishments and to promote interaction and collaboration between the database and information systems research communities from European countries and the rest of the world. The ADBIS conferences provide an international platform for the presentation of research on database theory, development of advanced database technologies and their applications.
ADBIS 2021 will consist of regular sessions with technical contributions reviewed and selected by an international program committee, as well as of invited talks presented by leading scientists. The official language of the conference will be English.
Submission Guidelines
The organizers of ADBIS 2020 invite original papers (not submitted in elsewhere in parallel) describing results that broadly belong to both theory and practice of databases and information systems. The aforementioned list of topics is not exhaustive and we welcome novel results addressing topics not included in the list.
The page limits are as follows:
- Full research papers: 14 pages in LNCS style
- Short papers: 10 pages in LNCS style
Papers must be submitted via Easy Chair.
Authors should consult Springer’s authors’ guidelines and use their proceedings templates, either for LaTeX or for Word, for the preparation of their papers. Springer encourages authors to include their ORCIDs in their papers. In addition, the corresponding author of each paper, acting on behalf of all of the authors of that paper, must complete and sign a Consent-to-Publish form. The corresponding author signing the copyright form should match the corresponding author marked on the paper. Once the files have been sent to Springer, changes relating to the authorship of the papers cannot be made.

Venue
ADBIS 2021 will be held in Tartu, Estonia, in the new riverside building of University of Tartu's Institute of Computer Science (the Delta building). Tartu is the second largest city in Estonia. It is the academic centre of Estonia and home to the top-ranked university and computer science department in the Baltics. Tartu is connected to all main hubs in Europe via Tallinn airport (two hours away).
The organizers intend the conference to take place in physical format. Should there be a need to convert the conference into an online format, an announcement will be made by March 2021.
