ACE 2020: National Conference on Advances in Civil Engineering 2020 Amal Jyothi College of Engineering Koovappally, Kanjirappally, India, May 28-29, 2020

The Department of Civil Engineering, Amal Jyothi College of Engineering in association with ISTE Kerala and Indian Concrete Institute is organizing a two-day national conference on Advances in Civil Engineering (ACE) on 28^th and 29^th May 2020. The conference will provide a platform for subject experts, researchers and business persons to discuss developments and technological advances in their area of expertise. Research in the field of Civil Engineering is traditionally focused in isolated areas. This trend is gradually changing and the experts are looking towards collaboration. In this conference, applications and impacts of challenges faced in each research area will be taken up for discussion in a general forum consisting of experts from multiple fields. This will help researchers and industry experts to be more inducive in their work.

ACE 2019 has brought the engineering community in India under one roof and created a platform to converse on various domains of research in Civil Engineering. The ACE 2019 edition was a stepping stone to the next level of ACE. First edition was a stepping stone to the next level of ACE.

As an addition to the previous, ACE 2020 edition showcases a workshop session on 27^th May 2020, which will deal with the emerging trends in the construction industry. Posters may be submitted directly to the poster session. This workshop will help UG, PG, Professional Engineers community to understand the numerous opportunities unwinding before them.

The World as we know it is currently fighting COVID-19, ACE honours all those services working towards the cure. In such a scenario, we are moving this conference to an online platform, where participants can present their submission remotely, which supports the social distancing policy followed as per Government guidelines. Further details shall follow along with the notice of acceptance.

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original. The following paper categories are welcome:

• Full papers
• Work-in-progress(WIP) papers
• Research articles
• Review papers
• State-of-the-art papers
• Case studies
• Posters

Original full papers present completed research that is original and contains new ideas or methodologies. The paper illustrates the results that demonstrate the performance of the research. Original WIP papers present research that addresses a challenging research question but does not necessarily contain a completed analysis.

The registered candidates will have an opportunity of getting their full paper reviewed by subject experts. This review will aid them in a conference presentation, as well as for publishing in a journal at a later stage.

PAPER ABSTRACT & FULL PAPER SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS ON 01/05/2020.

POSTER SUBMISSION will close on 11/05/2020.
