Submission Guidelines
AAEE 2019 Annual Conference is calling engineering academics and allied educators to submit their full papers for peer-review. All paper submissions must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The conference will use a double-blind review process (no identifiers for both authors and reviewers). Please use the paper template provided on the conference website. DO NOT include any authors' info or affiliations in this submission.
Full paper submissions are due for review by Monday 26 August 2019.
Submit your paper up to a maximum page limit of 7 pages in PDF format. These papers will be reviewed using the AAEE Conference Paper Review Criteria (375KB) in the following categories below. Please nominate and state which paper category you wish to be reviewed against in the start of the ABSTRACT section of your paper.
- Education Research Papers
- Academic Practice Papers
- Theoretical Papers
The following paper/workshop categories (but not exclusive to) are welcome:
Educators Becoming Agents of Change: Innovate, Integrate, Motivate
- Innovation in Learning and Teaching
- Integration of Curriculum and Programs
- Motivation and Engagement of Students, Academics and Industry
Best Papers:
As part of the double-blind review process, there will be a shortlisting of papers to determine the best paper for each of the sub-themes, and then an overall best paper for the conference, which may not be a winner of a sub-theme.
Opportunity for best work to be expanded for the journal:
The editorial team of the Australasian Journal of Engineering Education, with assistance from the AAEE 2019 Technical Committee, will select the most significant and original pieces of research presented at the conference, and invite authors to expand their conference submissions for a special issue of the Journal. This will include but not be limited to the Best Paper.
