Artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IOT) in recent years have shown promising results. Research in these areas has made substantial progress in providing a better understanding of the various aspects of the Internet of Things, data science and their integration through the development of a number of models.
Artificial intelligence (AI) aims to simulate human intelligence in machines programmed to think like humans and imitate their actions. The term can also be applied to any machine that exhibits traits associated with a human mind such as learning and problem solving. It is at the heart of many high performance applications that shape our daily lives and others that are very promising are about to come. IOT represents a system of computer devices, mechanical and digital machines, objects, animals or people interconnected that can communicate data via a network in an autonomous manner, in real time and without any human interaction. Since its appearance, several IOT applications have emerged to answer a set of challenges of various domains such as Health, Education, and Agriculture, which shows that the scope of the IOT is almost unlimited.
The combination of AI and IoT transforms and enriches the two technologies: AI brings its machine learning capabilities to objects, and IoT brings to AI connectivity, signaling and exchange of data. The union of AI and IoT essentially aims to integrate cognitive computing into consumer devices and in terms of data analysis, the A2IOT combines machine learning with networks and IoT systems to create “learning machines”.
The aim is also to provide an overview of recent advances and challenges in artificial intelligence, internet of things and their integration, and in particular to solicit contributions on real-world applications. Furthermore, this workshop offers an opportunity for researchers and practitioners to identify new promising research directions as well as to publish recent advances in this area.
The International Workshop on Artificial Intelligence & Internet of Things (A2IOT'2020) will be held in conjunction with The 17th International Conference on Mobile Systems and Pervasive Computing August 9-12, 2020, Leuven, Belgium.
Online presentation will be possible
