5th AATT Conference: 21st Century Language Learning Standards And Curriculum Design Georgetown University Washington, DC, United States, October 9, 2020

We are pleased to invite you to the fifth AATT Conference focusing on the teaching of the languages and literatures of Turkic peoples. The American Association of Teachers of Turkic has been organizing conferences to advance and improve the teaching of the Turkic languages; to promote study, criticism, and research in the field of the Turkic languages and literatures; and to further the common interests of teachers of these subjects. We are excited to announce the fifth conference that will take place at Georgetown University in Washington, DC on October 9, 2020. 

• The is NO Conference fee for the 5th AATT Annual Conference.
• Successful applications will be granted with AATT membership.

Submission Guidelines

The deadline to register abstracts is June 1, 2020. The authors will be notified by July 30th. Authors are invited to submit an abstract in English between 250-300 words for a 25-minute joint or individual presentation. The joint presentations must not have more than three presenters. We look forward to seeing you at the 5th AATT Conference in November. Just a reminder that this conference will precede the MESA Annual Meeting, which will also take place in Washington DC. 

• All abstracts must be in English.
• Panel sessions may be organized one of the Turkic languages so long as there is enough submission in the same language.
• Participants should indicate the language of presentations at the end of their abstracts.
