In order to keep up the momentum in propagating the Recollect brand of researches, the Center for Policy, Research and Development Studies will hold its 4thRecoletos (International) Research Congress on March 2-4, 2020 at the University of San Jose-Recoletos Basak Campus, with the theme “Sustainable Communities through Education, Research and Innovation”. Inspired by the Augustinian Recollect life and mission for 2016-2022, “Creators of Communion,” this year’s conference focuses on showcasing products of research and scientific inquiry that can give the impetus to achieving sustainable communities. A sustainable community ensures a healthy environment, a strong economy and the well-being of the people living in the community. Conceived in 2016, the annual Recoletos Research Congress has been an important venue, especially among members of the Recollect education community, to share interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research perspectives that have a societal and global impact. For this year, we continue to establish a wide reach and a broad representation and participation in the conference by inviting international research experts as our plenary speakers and opening the submission and presentation, not just to local researchers, but to foreign scholars as well.
