2019IEEE/SITIM servers as a forum for those who are interested in Social Implications of Technologies and Information and Management (SITIM). The main topic includes Information and Management, Management and Technology, Business Ethics, Information Ethics, Technology Development, Digital Divide, Blockchain Technologies, Business and Blockchain Applications. SITIM aims to be an active platform to exchange new ideas and looking into future research topics.
All accepted conference papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore for publication provided that they are actually presented in the conference by one of the authors through "real" presence (i.e. electronic means are not considered as "real" presence).
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. Authors intend to present papers are invited to consider the followings.
- Full Paper submission is invited. -- Describing about such topics but not limited as the "development of blockchain technologies", "applications of blockchain technologies", "business applications of blockchain technologies", "ethical issues relating to blockchain" -
- Page limitation of Abstract -- Although Full Paper submission is highly recommended for the inclusion of the presentation, Abstract submission is accepted for reviewing purpose only. Abstract should be more than 4 pages of IEEE/Conference format, clearly stating the relevance of the research topics and methodologies used.
- Page limitations of Full paper -- Please consider the length of the Full Paper not exceeding pages when notified with acceptance.

Registration
- All accepted papers must be presented by at least one of the authors who actually attend the conference physically.
- The attendants of the conference must bear registration fee (TBA).
- The registration fee will cover the right to attend all the sessions of SITIM as well as JSIM79 including plenary sessions and keynotes. No foods nor drinks will be covered with the registration fee.
- For those who are members of JSIM attending JSIM79 paying the registration fee for JSIM79, the registration fee of SITIM can be waived only when notified to the directorate prior to the conference (contact before paying to SITIM).
- All accepted papers must bear publication charge of 150.- US dollar equivalent Japanese Yen, which will be indicated in the acceptance notification.
