Call For Papers & Video Presentations
October 14-16 2020, via Zoom
It is our pleasure to invite your submissions to the Virtual IRES Symposium for Doctoral Students. The symposium brings together doctoral students from various disciplines and you will have a unique opportunity to present your research to the international society of real estate academics and practitioners and broaden your network. Short-listed doctoral students will be able to post recorded research presentations on the IRES website to disseminate your findings and exchange ideas with colleagues.
Submission Guidelines
PARTICIPATION: Anyone who registers can participate at no cost. Registered participants will be able to watch the recorded presentations made by short-listed doctoral students on the IRES website and join the live symposium sessions. Registered participants will receive a notification and a reminder before the live sessions.
SUBMISSION: We accept well-developed extended abstracts or draft papers that contain at least some initial results from interested doctoral students. Short-listed doctoral students will be asked to record your research presentation (max 15 minutes) and provide the link to your video presentation.
FORMAT: The presentation videos recorded by the short-listed doctoral students will be made available in the designated area on the IRES website. The organizing committee will further evaluate the short-listed submissions to decide the top submissions. We will assign a mentor for each of these selected top Ph.D. students. Each selected top student will have a live online slot to present the short executive summary and receive comments and questions from the mentor as well as from participants.
BEST PRESENTATION AWARDS: After the symposium, we will decide 3 best presentations and each winner will be awarded US $1,000, thanks to the generous support of James R. Webb ARES Foundation.
