Abstract:
The current state of digital technology in domestic business is dramatically different from the world. The use of world-class methodologies to determine the digital intensity (maturity) index with appropriate indicators is not acceptable for domestic realities because of the low overall level of use of digital technologies in business, both industrial and commercial. In view of these issues, the task of developing our own, national methodology for determining the index of digital transformation of a business with relevant indicators is relevant and important. Such a methodology should take into account the current state of affairs in Ukraine, reflect an in-depth analysis of the level of digital transformation of business structures, while being flexible in order to respond promptly to new phenomena and the emergence of new digital technologies. Calculation of the Index based on the real results of digital maturity of domestic business structures will serve as a driver for further practical steps to enhance their digital development. The article describes the method of calculating the Digital Transformation Index (HIT); a list of multilevel recommendations for increasing the HIT index has been formed, their gradation is displayed; the results of clustering of business structures by the level of digital maturity are demonstrated; specific recommendations for raising the HIT for the enterprises of each of the clusters formed.
