Abstract:
The main aim of this paper is to give some local fixed point theorems for three classes of generalized contractions with applications to open mapping theorems. We consider Chatterjea and Berinde type contractions of the well-known alpha-contraction, and we obtain results which generalize the classical case of Banach contractions.
