Abstract:
The aim of this study is to describe the development of a palletizing machine for companies that manufacture fractional products, including food, footwear, pharmaceutical, automotive, graphics, electronic devices, building materials, among others. In this context, there are problems with the manual process used in companies, among which work-related illnesses caused by efforts and repetition of activities stand out. In this way, the development and application of the equipment aims to help their minimization or elimination. For this, the theoretical framework adopted addresses the themes of innovation, Product Development Process (PDP) and the types of shipments for the palletizing process. To achieve the objective, techniques were used, for example, the Matrix of the house of quality, Brainstorming and the global function of the product and was divided into tasks within the phases of informational, conceptual and detailed design based on the model. of [15]. In the case study, the product's target specifications were obtained in the informational design, in the conceptual design phase, the most appropriate design was selected and finally, in the detailed design, the project was demonstrated in greater detail. Using this methodology, the project for new equipment on the market was developed, considering high productivity, reducing the risks with work-related diseases and respecting safety regulatory standards.
