Abstract:
This article highlights the opportunities and challenges for the German tax administration that are opened up by the use of artificial intelligence, as well as the special features of administrative activities that need to be taken into account in comparison with private companies. The application-related focus is on detailed explanations of the application area of decision support in the context of hybrid tax case processing. An outlook on potential future developments completes the presentation.
