Abstract:
This article performs the modeling, comparison and evaluation of pedestrian´s performance process evacuation in a vertical building belonging to the municipality of Pueblo Libre, Lima-Peru. The research, descriptive-macroscopic, seeks to perform the aforementioned analyzes simulating a panic situation. It also emphasizes the need for a change in the distribution and studies of escape routes for future vertical buildings of large pedestrian capacity. Finally, the most relevant results in the framework of this research are: 1) Density, clearance time and storage area between a capacity of fifty people vs. total structure capacity 2) Data collection in real situation vs Pathfinder and 3) Efficiency of the different evacuation routes and suggestion in changing design for optimization of evacuation
