Abstract:
Vehicle electrification has been widely discussed and applied around the world. In addition to the advantage of reducing emissions of polluting gases into the atmosphere, the hybridization of heavy vehicles can reduce operating costs, focusing on a strategy to reduce fuel consumption. This work addresses the design of the electric drive system for the hybridization of a backhoe loader. The dimensions of components are presented, respecting norms on the subject and, finally, the initial 3D project of a prototype bench for later validation of the hybridization strategies.
