The purpose of this study is to identify the key elements of innovation ecosystem of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Today, in the context of the russian-Ukrainian war, innovations acquire a special strategic dimension. The main reason for this was the need to make non-standard deci-sions and an asymmetric response to the enemy in conditions of limited resources, both human and material. This requires not only an in-depth understanding of the existing mechanisms of innovation, but also emphasizes their critical role as a strategic direction for future victory. The main objective of the study is to explore NATO's experience in creating and developing innova-tive solutions for the armed forces. To considered approaches to organizing and selecting innova-tive projects for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and to identified elements of the innovation infra-structure. The state system of innovation activity of Ukraine is an important component of the country's economic development, aimed at supporting technological progress, increasing competi-tiveness and ensuring sustainable economic growth. So, it is elaborate to provide recommenda-tions for the further formation and development of the innovation activity system.
