A significant shift is taking place not only in different organizations throughout the world, but as well as at higher educational institutions. This shift involves increasing the emphasis on the group or teamwork during academic process. When a team is functioning well, the team dynamics and sense of belongingness and acceptance can bring out the best of the future university teacher. Teamwork among future teachers can enhance the problem solving and creativity generate understanding, support, commitment and acceptance. This article aims at proposing a new pedagogy for enhancing the pedagogical courses at the universities where future teachers are trained through incorporating teamwork into pedagogy, as a successful mean of interaction with the future global parameters in teaching profession, such as new educational strategies, new advanced technology revolution, new large-scale educational projects with complicated pedagogical and age-psychological problems. The article consists of two major parts. First, the theoretical part, highlighting: the importance of applying teamwork as a tool for obtaining a more successful educational technology; tools for making an effective teamwork in the academic process; strategies for designing a new teamwork pedagogy for teaching master’s degree students in Pedagogy (designing a syllabus, organizing, and evaluating teamwork). Second, the experimental part, based upon applying teamwork as a new proposed pedagogy for future university teachers. The paper examines this new proposed pedagogy on the development team interaction competence. An experiment was conducted to test and evaluate the development of teamwork competence for master’s degree students towards this new pedagogy to determine all its positive and negative aspects, and proposes a new guiding tool for incorporating teamwork into educational process of training future university teachers.
