The Smart Factory achieves an increase in flexibility in the production process due to current resources, capacities and utilization under consideration from customer orders structure. Based on the Consideration from products- and production-information at CAD features from 3D models of components and the current information from the machine tool, it’s possible to create on a automatically way serialized NC programs, which is the basis for self-organizable and autonomous parts production. Continuous improvements can be achieved by means of high-frequency data from the machine tool and analytical observations.
